Frequently Asked Questions

 How It All Works

How soon after I open my new QuadNet Account will I be able to use it?
Your Account becomes Active Immediately after your Online Application is processed and your credit card is approved, which should take about 45 to 90 seconds.

I travel a lot.  Can QuadNet give me a local phone number for my modem anywhere I go?
Sorry, QuadNet is a Regional Internet Service Provider for Greater Delaware Valley, and our coverage area extends through South-Eastern Pennsylvania, South Jersey, and Northern Delaware only.

I leave Philadelphia area for 3 months in the summer, but I don't want to cancel my QuadNet account because I am coming back to School in September.  What should I do to stop billing on my account?
You can temporarily suspend (deactivate) your account by logging into our Account Manager and click on "Deactivate" link on "Customer Snapshot" Tab.
Note:  While your account is in deactivated state, it cannot be used for dial-up and your e-mail account is also halted and unusable.  No new billing will occur on a suspended account.  Please remember that a suspended account cannot be accessed from account manager, and when you wish to "Reactivate" your account you have to do it by contacting our office.
